Every presentation is part of a richer whole.
All presentations are nuanced and form part of a richer whole of who you are, a picture we can connect with and explore.
As the work begins, we meet what alchemy calls the prima materia — the ‘first matter’ of the psyche. It's often the material we least like about ourselves, or the parts we’ve pushed into the shadows, precisely because they feel too painful or too much to share. When this material is brought into the light, witnessed, and met without judgement, it begins to change. It can breathe. It can be looked at, and held, with compassion. This is where the alchemy, and the fuller picture of who you are, begins.
“Those aspects of ourselves most painful and most humiliating are the very ones to be brought forward and worked on.”
It is how we find our natural self.
